1. Service description

Research Quality Lab (RQL) provides AI-assisted academic review and proofreading tools, and a collaboration board where users can post proposals and connect with others.

2. Not professional advice

RQL outputs are informational and educational. They do not constitute professional, legal, medical, or journal peer-review decisions. You remain responsible for your work, claims, and submissions.

3. User responsibilities

• You confirm you have the right to upload the document content you submit.
• You agree not to upload illegal content or content that violates third-party rights.
• You agree not to misuse the service (spam, abuse, attempts to break the system).

4. Collaboration board rules

• Listings are public if you choose to post them.
• Do not publish sensitive personal data in listings.
• Users are responsible for agreements made (authorship, credit, payments, deadlines).
• We may remove or restrict listings/accounts for abuse or violations.

5. Payments

Some features may require payment (for example, full AI review or advanced proofreading). Prices are shown before checkout. Your payment provider may apply additional terms.

6. Refund policy

If you are charged but the service fails to deliver output due to a technical error, contact us with your receipt. Because AI processing costs are incurred at time of generation, refunds may be limited once output has been produced.

8. Availability and changes

We may update features, limits, or these Terms from time to time. We may suspend the service temporarily for maintenance or reliability. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime or reliance on outputs.
